ScraperAPI pricing starts at $49 a month for the Hobby plan with 100,000 API credits and runs to $1,975 a month for Advanced with 21.5 million credits, with custom Enterprise plans above that. What those credits buy depends on the site: a plain page costs 1 credit, an Amazon page 5, a Google search 25 and a LinkedIn page 30, so the same $49 plan covers 100,000 simple pages or 4,000 Google searches.
This guide lists every ScraperAPI plan, explains how credits, parameters and bot protection change the count, works through three monthly bills, and compares them with Scrape.ly, where ready-made scrapers charge a fixed price per result with platform usage included.
Prices checked on 26 October 2026 on scraperapi.com/pricing and ScraperAPI's credit documentation.
ScraperAPI pricing: every plan
ScraperAPI sells monthly or annual plans. Annual billing takes 10% off. Each plan includes a number of API credits, a limit on concurrent threads and a geotargeting level.
| Plan | Monthly | Per month, billed annually | API credits | Concurrent threads | Geotargeting |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $49 | $44.10 | 100,000 | 20 | US and EU only |
| Startup | $149 | $134.10 | 1,000,000 | 50 | US and EU only |
| Business | $299 | $269.10 | 3,000,000 | 100 | Country-level |
| Scaling | $475 | $427.50 | 5,000,000 | 200 | Country-level |
| Professional | $975 | $877.50 | 10,500,000 | 300 | Country-level |
| Advanced | $1,975 | $1,777.50 | 21,500,000 | 500 | Country-level |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | 22,000,000+ | 500+ | Country-level |
Every plan lists JavaScript rendering, premium proxies, CAPTCHA and anti-bot handling, JSON auto parsing, structured data APIs, DataPipeline and the crawler. Hobby and Startup keep 30 days of analytics history; Business and up keep it without a limit.
To try it, ScraperAPI offers a 7-day trial with 5,000 API credits and no card. Its FAQ also describes a free plan with 1,000 API credits and up to 5 concurrent connections.
How ScraperAPI counts credits
One credit is the price of one standard request. Everything else is a multiple of it, and three things set the multiple.
The site. ScraperAPI prices some domains higher because it runs custom logic for them:
| Target | Credits per request |
|---|---|
| Normal page | 1 |
| Amazon, Walmart, eBay | 5 |
| Google, Bing (all subdomains) | 25 |
| 30 |
Bot protection. When ScraperAPI has to get past Cloudflare, Cloudflare Turnstile, DataDome, PerimeterX or Akamai, the bypass costs 10 credits per scrape. The pricing FAQ puts it as adding 10 credits per request on those sites.
Parameters. Some request options cost extra:
| Parameter | Credits per request |
|---|---|
render=true (JavaScript rendering) | 10 |
premium=true (premium proxies) | 10 |
screenshot=true | 10 |
premium=true + render=true | 25 |
ultra_premium=true (paid plans only) | 30 |
ultra_premium=true + render=true (paid plans only) | 75 |
Options like country_code, device_type, session_number and autoparse don't add credits.
The rules around the count:
- Only successful requests are charged. That means
200and404responses, plus requests you cancel before 70 seconds. - Credits reset at renewal. Unused credits don't roll over to the next billing cycle.
- Running out pauses scraping. By default, requests stop until the credits renew. On Hobby through Professional you can turn on auto-upgrade, which moves you to the next plan. Pay as you go, at a fixed per-credit rate up to a monthly cap, is available on Scaling, Professional, Advanced and Enterprise. Annual plans can renew early.
- Concurrency is a hard limit. Above your plan's threads, requests get a
429response and aren't queued. - You can cap one request. A
max_costparameter keeps a single scrape under a credit limit, and thesa-credit-costresponse header shows what each request cost.
Here's what 1,000 requests cost on Hobby, if you use the whole allowance ($49 ÷ 100,000 credits = $0.00049 per credit):
| Request type | Credits | Cost per 1,000 requests on Hobby |
|---|---|---|
| Normal page | 1 | $0.49 |
| Amazon page | 5 | $2.45 |
Page with render=true | 10 | $4.90 |
| Google search | 25 | $12.25 |
| LinkedIn page | 30 | $14.70 |
ultra_premium + render | 75 | $36.75 |
Three worked examples
These bills use only ScraperAPI's published plans and credit costs.
1. A small SEO job: 3,000 Google searches a month
3,000 × 25 credits = 75,000 credits. That fits Hobby's 100,000, so the bill is $49. You pay for 4,000 searches and use 3,000, which works out to $16.33 per 1,000 searches you actually ran. If you need Google results for countries outside the US and EU, Hobby and Startup don't cover them; country-level geotargeting starts with Business at $299.
2. An Amazon price monitor: 1,000 products a day
1,000 products × 30 days = 30,000 Amazon pages, × 5 credits = 150,000 credits. That's more than Hobby, so you need Startup at $149, and you'll leave 850,000 credits unused. On Hobby with auto-upgrade on, the account moves to Startup once the 100,000 credits run out.
3. A mixed month on one plan
40,000 normal pages (40,000 credits), 2,000 JavaScript-rendered pages at 10 credits (20,000) and 1,000 Google searches at 25 (25,000) add up to 85,000 credits. That fits Hobby at $49. Add 2,000 pages behind Cloudflare at 1 + 10 credits each (22,000 more) and you're at 107,000, over Hobby's allowance, which means Startup at $149 or waiting for the renewal.
How to size a ScraperAPI plan
Work out credits, not requests. For each target, multiply the requests you expect in your busiest month by its credit cost, add the parameter and bot-protection surcharges, and add the targets up. Then pick the smallest plan whose allowance covers the total, and check that its thread limit and geotargeting fit the job.
Two shortcuts help. At full use, Hobby buys 4,000 Google searches, 20,000 Amazon pages or 100,000 normal pages, and Startup ten times that. And because credits reset at renewal, size for the month you actually need, not an average: a quiet month costs the same as a busy one.
Extra costs to plan for
- Site and option multipliers. A credit isn't a page. Check the cost of each target with the Domain Cost Estimator in the dashboard, or the
sa-credit-costheader, before you size a plan. - Unused credits. They reset at renewal, so a plan sized for your busiest month costs the same in a quiet one.
- Plan jumps. Hobby to Startup is a $100 step, and auto-upgrade makes it for you.
- Geotargeting. Country-level targeting needs Business ($299) or higher.
- Enterprise minimums. Accounts on custom discounted deals pay a higher credit cost for Ultra Premium domains, to meet ScraperAPI's minimum of $3 per 1,000 requests without rendering and $7 with rendering.
ScraperAPI vs Scrape.ly pricing
Scrape.ly is a web data platform with a Store of 570+ ready-made scrapers (Actors), a cloud runtime, an API and an MCP server. Instead of credits per request, each Store Actor charges a fixed price per result, with compute and proxy included. Here's how the two compare on the jobs above:
| Scrape.ly | ScraperAPI | |
|---|---|---|
| Billing unit | Fixed price per result, platform usage included | Credits per request: 1 to 75 by site and options |
| Google results | $3.30 per 1,000 results pages, any country | 25 credits per search; US and EU only on Hobby and Startup |
| Amazon products | $1.06 per 1,000 products | 5 credits per page |
| Smallest paid step | Starter $19, all of it usage credit | Hobby $49 |
| Free to start | $5 credit every month, about 1,500 Google results pages | 1,000 credits, or 40 Google searches |
| Spending cap | Maximum charge per run; the run stops cleanly | max_cost per request; pay-as-you-go cap from Scaling |
On the same monthly jobs:
| Job | Scrape.ly | ScraperAPI |
|---|---|---|
| 3,000 Google searches | 3,000 × $0.0033 = $9.90 | $49 (Hobby) |
| 30,000 Amazon products | 30,000 × $0.00106 = $31.80 | $149 (Startup) |
The Google job comes to 20% of the Hobby bill, and the Amazon monitor to 21% of Startup. Both Scrape.ly numbers are the whole bill. The Amazon Product Scraper also charges $0.0004 per run start, so 30 daily runs add $0.012.
What else changes on Scrape.ly:
- You get finished rows. The Google Search Scraper returns positions, titles, URLs, People Also Ask and related searches as JSON. The Amazon Product Scraper returns prices, ratings and sellers.
- Any country for Google.
countryCodeis a field on the input, not a plan tier. - No credits to size. You pay for the results you get from a prepaid balance. Pages that fail aren't charged.
- More than single requests. Crawls, schedules, Google Sheets and webhook deliveries, and an MCP server so Claude or Cursor can run any of the scrapers.

A real run: four Google searches for $0.0132
On 26 October 2026 we ran four keywords through the Google Search Scraper in one run, US results, one page each. It returned 4 results pages with 34 organic results in 4.1 seconds. At list price that's 4 × $0.0033 = $0.0132, platform usage included. Our account was charged $0.01056 because its plan has a Store discount.
