What you'll be doing

Scrape.ly is a cloud platform for Actors: packaged scrapers and automations that businesses run on demand, on a schedule, or through the API. You'll help keep it fast, reliable, and effortless for the developers who depend on it.

Platform engineering

Build and scale the Actor runtime, API, and dashboard that power customer scrapers, from build pipelines to run orchestration.

Infrastructure and reliability

Keep the Docker-based Actor containers, storage (datasets, key-value stores, request queues), and queues fast and dependable.

Anti-blocking and scraping

Work on proxy integration, browser automation with Playwright and Puppeteer, and staying ahead of anti-bot measures.

We want your skills

Do you have one or more of these?

Reversing anti-bot measures
Familiarity with the inner workings of anti-detect browsers
Extensive understanding of low-level Go
Deep experience in web scraping

Who you are

We care more about how you think than a perfect résumé.

Highly comfortable with Node.js/TypeScript and Python. Go is a bonus.
A solid grasp of networking fundamentals: HTTP, TCP, TLS, DNS, and proxies.
A bias for reliability, observability, and clean automation.
A clear communicator who enjoys helping customers succeed.
At least some overlap with the CET time zone.
You own your projects and take responsibility when things go wrong.
