This policy lists the cookies, local storage and similar technologies used on scrape.ly and in the dashboard at my.scrape.ly, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy. "We" means TeraShift GmbH, Hauptstrasse 35a, 8272 Ermatingen, Switzerland.

Strictly necessary and functional items. A sign-in cookie (Authorization, set at auth.scrape.ly, 90 days, renewed on use), dashboard credentials in local storage (scrapely_credentials, until you sign out), redirect items, sl_theme and other preference items in cookies and local storage (up to 1 year), sl_session_hint (90 days, contains no token), and session-storage items for navigation history and counting Store page views. Without the sign-in items you cannot stay signed in and use the dashboard.

Analytics and advertising. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google), and PostHog, loaded through p.scrape.ly, which records clicks, page views, heatmaps and errors and makes session recordings that can replay what you type and the data exchanged between your browser and our servers. Once you are signed in, this is linked to your account. Shortly after sign-in we also calculate a browser identifier with FingerprintJS from characteristics of your browser and device, used for analytics and fraud detection.

Live chat. Intercom sets cookies to load the chat, keep your conversation across pages and visits and recognise returning visitors.

These tools load when the page loads. We do not currently run a consent banner, so there is no "reject all" button and no cookie wall.

2. Why we use them

Strictly necessary items let you use the service you asked for. Preference items remember your choices. We use analytics, advertising measurement, the browser identifier, bot detection and live chat for our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the Services, measuring our marketing, preventing fraud and providing support. The legal bases and your right to object are in the Privacy Policy.

3. How to control them

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, for all sites or for scrape.ly and my.scrape.ly only, and use content or tracker blockers to stop analytics, advertising and chat scripts. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account and use Google's opt-out add-on for Analytics. You can object to our use of analytics, session recordings, advertising measurement and the browser identifier at any time at privacy@scrape.ly or through the live chat; objecting does not retroactively delete data already collected.

If you block strictly necessary items you cannot sign in or use the dashboard; if you block Turnstile you may not be able to sign up or change your password. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals. Deleting site data also clears local storage.
