Send one scraper's results into the next
Scraper-to-Scraper connects Actors on Scrape.ly. When a run of one Actor reaches the event you pick, such as a successful finish, the platform starts another Actor with the input you set, or one of your saved tasks.
Use it to chain steps without running a server of your own: a search scraper followed by a detail scraper, or a clean-up or export Actor after every crawl. Each connection only fires for runs of the Actor you add it to, and you can turn it off at any time.
How to connect two scrapers
1. Open the first Actor
Open the Actor whose runs should start the next step, go to its Automations tab, click New automation, and pick Start another actor after this one.
2. Choose what to start
The automation runs After another run finishes for this Actor. Pick the outcomes that start it, such as Succeeded, then the Actor to start with the input you enter, or one of your saved inputs. The input can use values from the finished run, such as its dataset ID.
3. Manage your automations
Automations in the side menu lists every automation. Pause and Resume turn one off and on, and its run history shows every run it started. The automations docs cover the editor, the API, and the other things an automation can do.
