What each setting does

The input this example runs Google Lens Scraper with. “Try this input” opens it in the console, where you can run it as-is or change any field first.

Image URLs imageUrls

Public image URLs (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 8 MB). Duplicates are skipped. Visual matches for an image URL come from fast mode (a few seconds per image); the other match types use browser mode.

Max results per match type maxResults

20

How many matches to save for each selected match type, per image. Lens itself shows roughly 50 to 150 matches per type, and the run saves all it shows when the value is higher.

Match types searchTypes

visual-match

Which Lens tabs to read. Visual matches: similar images and the pages that show them (fast mode). All: pages that contain this image or a near copy (browser mode). Exact matches: pages with the very same image, with date and size (browser mode). Choosing All or Exact matches runs the whole lookup in browser mode,…

Results language language

en

Interface language code for the Lens results page, such as en, de or fr.

What it costs

About $0.016 for 20 results

An estimate: 20 × $0.0008 per result (One Google Lens match saved to the dataset). A run is charged for the events it reports, so one that finds fewer results costs less. Platform usage is included in the event price.

When to use this example

From the Google Lens Scraper readme:

Known limit

Coming from another Lens actor? Visual-match rows keep position, title, link, source and thumbnail; web results use link instead of href, and every match is its own row instead of a nested list.

Do I need a Google account, cookies or my own proxy?

No. Fast mode needs no proxy, and browser mode runs in a hosted browser with its own network. The proxy setting only affects downloading your image URLs and resolving exact-match links in browser mode.
