What each setting does

The input this example runs Google Trends Scraper with. “Try this input” opens it in the console, where you can run it as-is or change any field first.

Search terms searchTerms

coffee, tea

Terms to look up on Google Trends. Each term becomes one result. With Multiple terms checked, a comma splits one row into a comparison of up to five terms.

Max items maxItems

2

Maximum number of results. Each search term or URL counts as one result. Zero means no limit.

Default: 10 → this example uses 2

Geo area geo

United States

Limit interest to a country. Worldwide returns interest by country. A country returns subregions, and cities or metros when Trends publishes them.

Multiple terms isMultiple

No

Treat a comma inside a search term as a separator and compare those terms on one chart.

Include related topics includeRelatedTopics

Yes

Also fetch related topics (top and rising) for each single search term. Costs $0.01 extra per result that comes back with related topics ($10 per 1,000); results without topics cost nothing extra. Google shows related topics only to visitors it trusts, so the actor loads each term once more in a browser: this adds…

Default: No → this example uses Yes

Max concurrency maxConcurrency

3

How many terms to fetch at the same time.

Max request retries maxRequestRetries

4

How many times to retry a term when Trends rate-limits the request.

What it costs

About $0.004 for 2 results

An estimate: 2 × $0.002 per result (One Google Trends result for a search term or URL). A run is charged for the events it reports, so one that finds fewer results costs less. Platform usage is included in the event price.
