💰 Pricing

• $3.50 per 1,000 suppliers ($0.0035 per supplier), with sample products and photos included.
• $1.50 per 1,000 company details ($0.0015 per supplier), only when Include company details is on and the supplier's page loaded.
• Platform usage (compute and proxy traffic) is billed separately and is tiny: a run of a few hundred suppliers uses well under one cent.
• Example: 1,000 suppliers ≈ $3.50 plus about one cent of usage; with company details, 1,000 suppliers ≈ $5.00 plus usage.

Set Max suppliers or a maximum charge on the run to cap your spend. The run stops cleanly at the cap and keeps everything saved so far.

❓ FAQ

Is it legal to scrape Global Sources? The scraper collects only business information Global Sources shows publicly to every visitor, without logging in. You are responsible for how you use the data, including data protection rules when you contact companies.

Do I need a Global Sources account or my own proxy? No. No login is needed, and the default datacenter proxy works (no blocked requests in our test runs). Residential proxies are available in the proxy settings if you ever need them.

How many suppliers can I get? Every supplier Global Sources lists for your keywords and filters. Set maxSuppliers to 0 to get all of them. A broad keyword returns a few thousand suppliers (for example "electronics" returned 2,902 in our test), and Global Sources' supplier search covers about 5,000 suppliers in total: 12 broad keywords together gave 4,994 unique suppliers, with the rest repeats. The run's status message says how many matching suppliers Global Sources lists.

What if a field is empty? Fields the supplier has not filled in on Global Sources are null or [] (for example website, certificates or trade-show booth), so your columns stay the same from run to run.

Can I schedule runs or use the API? Yes. Schedule the scraper to watch for new suppliers, or start runs and fetch results through the API and integrations.

I used a similar actor on another platform. Will my workflow carry over? The input works the same way (keywords, location, business type, minimum level and years filters, max suppliers). The output is flat and table-friendly: the old nested verification, business_info and certifications objects become top-level fields such as supplierLevel, businessTypes and companyCertifications.

⚠️ Limits

• Contact person, phone and email come only from what the supplier publishes on its public Global Sources page, so many suppliers have none. Anything Global Sources shows only after login is not collected.
• Sample products are the up to three products Global Sources shows next to each supplier in search results; prices are not shown there and are not collected.
• Global Sources' supplier search covers about 5,000 suppliers in total (measured October 2026), so very large runs stop at that ceiling; the status message says how many were found.
• Keywords work best in English. Chinese-language keywords return no suppliers on Global Sources.
• Results depend on Global Sources' own search: the same keyword can return a slightly different order from day to day.
