The dataset has four table views: Businesses, Officers (one row per officer), Filed documents (one row per PDF) and Filing status.

💰 Pricing

You pay $3.50 per 1,000 records ($0.0035 per record), with or without full details, and event history costs nothing extra. Searches that find nothing, filtered-out entities and pages that fail to load are not charged. Platform usage (compute and datacenter proxy) is billed on top and is small: about $0.005 for a 1,000-record run with full details in our tests.

❓ FAQ

Is it legal to scrape Sunbiz? Sunbiz is a public register run by the Florida Department of State, and the scraper only reads pages anyone can open without an account. You are responsible for how you use the data, including any rules on contacting the people listed.

Do I need a login or a proxy? No login. The default datacenter proxy works; switch to residential (US) only if you see many blocked requests.

How many results can I get? As many as Sunbiz lists for your term. Searches page through the register 20 rows at a time; set Max records to 0 for no limit. Big name prefixes (like "Florida") return more than 10,000 entities.

Why is a field empty? Sunbiz leaves it empty for that entity, for example no FEI/EIN on file, no mailing address change date, or no documents for very old filings. Trademarks have no registered agent or officers.

Why did I get fewer records than Max records? The matches ended (see "Only names that start with the search term"), your filters left entities out, or entities were listed several times and saved once. The run's status message says which.

Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Save your input as a task, schedule it (for example daily with a "filed on or after" date) and read the results through the API or an integration.

⚠️ Limits

• Florida only (Division of Corporations). Fictitious names (DBAs), UCC liens and other states are not covered.
• The PDF links point to Sunbiz; the documents themselves are not downloaded.
• Sunbiz searches by the start of a name (prefix), not by words inside a name.
• The filing date filter and event history need full details (they are turned on automatically).
• Sunbiz updates its data on its own schedule; very recent filings can take a few days to appear there.
