🚀 How to use

1. Add artist names or URLs to Artists, and/or cities to Cities, venue pages to Venue URLs, or event pages to Event URLs.
2. Choose upcoming, past or all events for artists, and optionally a date range, genre or free-only filter.
3. Set Maximum events per input and switch on Include event details if you need lineups and ticket vendors.
4. Run, then download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the API.

💰 Pricing

Pay per result; platform usage is billed separately at the normal rates (usually a fraction of a cent per run).

• Event: $0.80 per 1,000 events.
• Artist profile: $0.80 per 1,000 artists.
• Event with details (includeEventDetails): $3.00 per 1,000 events, charged instead of Event.

Example: 1,000 tour dates ≈ $0.80. Set a maximum total charge on any run and the scraper stops cleanly when it is reached.

❓ FAQ

Is it legal to scrape Bandsintown? The actor only reads public pages any visitor can open. Check Bandsintown's terms and your local laws for your use case.

Do I need a Bandsintown account, an API key or a proxy? No login and no app id. Bandsintown blocks datacenter IPs, so the default residential proxy is used; its traffic is small (pages are compressed) and billed as normal platform usage.

How many events can I get? All upcoming events of an artist, the most recent 50 past events, every upcoming event Bandsintown lists near a city (thousands for big cities), and a venue's upcoming calendar.

Why are coordinates empty on city results? Bandsintown's city feed does not include them. Switch on Include event details to add coordinates, full address and lineup.

Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule it to watch for new tour dates, and use the API or integrations to send results anywhere.

⚠️ Limits

• Past events: the most recent 50 per artist (older history needs a signed-in Bandsintown account, which this actor does not use).
• City discovery follows Bandsintown's own radius around the city and lists upcoming events only.
• Ticket links point to Bandsintown's ticket redirect, which forwards to the seller.
