Updated November 7, 2026
What this example returns
This example returns up to 50000 group or channels.
The dataset’s “Groups and channels” view shows 15 columns: Title, Type, Join link, Members, Online, Description, Language, Username, Link type, Verified, Keyword, Found via, Found on, Photo, and Rank. See every output field.
What each setting does
The input this example runs Telegram Group Finder with. “Try this input” opens it in the console, where you can run it as-is or change any field first.
- Keywords
keywords chess
Topics to look up public Telegram groups and channels for, one per line, in any language (for example hiking, language exchange, krakow, python jobs). Each keyword is its own search. Use the words your community would use, in its language, and add several related keywords for more results.
- Maximum results per keyword
maxResultsPerKeyword 10
How many groups and channels to save for each keyword. 0 = every one the searches turn up.
Default: 20 → this example uses 10
- Types
types group
Which kinds of Telegram chats to keep. Groups are chats everyone can write in; channels are one-way broadcasts.
Default: group, channel → this example uses group
- Maximum members
maxMembers 50000
Keep only groups and channels with at most this many members or subscribers (monthly users for bots), for example to get small local communities. Rows whose count Telegram does not show are left out while this is set.
- Include private invite links
includeInviteLinks No
Also search for t.me/+ and joinchat invite links that people share publicly. Each link is checked, and expired invites are left out.
Default: Yes → this example uses No

}What it costs
From about $102.00 for 50000 group or channels
An estimate at the lowest plan price: 50000 × $0.00204 per group or channel (One public Telegram group, channel or bot saved to the dataset, after its link was checked on t.me). A run is charged for the events it reports, so one that finds fewer group or channels costs less. Platform usage is included in the event price.
When to use this example
From the Telegram Group Finder readme:
Known limit
Language detection needs some text; rows with very short titles and no description have no language.
Known limit
Bots are left out unless you add bot to Types; personal user accounts are never returned.
