You pay $0.60 per 1,000 rows ($0.0006 per company or review row), plus the small platform usage of the run (compute and datacenter proxy traffic), which is shown on every run.
Set a spending limit on the run and the scraper stops cleanly when it is reached.
Is it legal to scrape kununu? The actor only reads public pages that anyone can open without an account. Reviews on kununu are anonymous. Check your local rules (for example GDPR) for how you store and use the data.
Do I need a login or proxy? No login. Datacenter proxies are set by default and work well; if kununu refuses them repeatedly, the run switches to residential proxies by itself.
How many reviews can I get? Without login kununu shows a limited set of each large employer's reviews: typically several hundred employee reviews and up to about 100 applicant reviews. Small and mid-sized employers are usually covered completely. The status message tells you how many were available.
Why is a field empty? Many reviews only have ratings and no text, and employers fill their profile texts, salary data and benefits to different degrees. Empty values are null or an empty list.
Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule it for weekly monitoring, or start it from the API and read the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel. Company and review rows have stable IDs (companyId, reviewId) for deduplication.
I used another kununu scraper before. The main fields have the same meaning (kununuScore, recommendationRate, reviewCount, pros, cons ...). Nested data such as categoryScores, benefits and salaries stays structured instead of being flattened into JSON strings.
Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
companyNamesarrayOptionalCompany names
Employer names to look up on kununu, one per line, for example Bosch, SAP, Deutsche Bahn. Each name is matched to its kununu profile in the country below (exact name first, then the most-reviewed close match).
startUrlsarrayOptionalKununu company URLs
kununu company profile URLs, for example https://www.kununu.com/de/bosch-gruppe or https://www.kununu.com/at/oebb/kommentare. Any page of a profile works, and the country is read from the URL, so DE, AT and CH can be mixed.
searchQuerystringOptionalEmployer search
Search kununu's employer directory, for example 'software', 'Krankenhaus' or 'Wien'. Every matching employer becomes a company row (plus its reviews when reviews are on). Use the industry filter to narrow it down.
maxItemsintegerOptionaldefault 20Max results
Maximum number of rows saved in total. Company rows and review rows both count. 0 means no limit.
countryCodeenumOptionaldefault "de"Country
kununu country site used for company names and the employer search. Pasted URLs keep their own country.
industryIdstringOptionalIndustry (search only)
Only for the employer search: a kununu industry number, for example 10 for IT, 7 for healthcare or 12 for automotive (see the industry= value in a kununu search URL).
reviewsNewerThanstringOptionalReviews newer than
Only keep reviews published on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD), or a relative value such as '6 months' or '1 year'.
minRatingnumberOptionalMinimum review rating

maxRatingnumberOptionalMaximum review rating

maxReviewsPerCompanyintegerOptionaldefault 20Max employee reviews per company
How many employee reviews to save per employer. kununu shows a few hundred reviews per large employer without login; small employers are covered completely.
reviewSortenumOptionaldefault "newest"Review order
Which reviews come first. Newest is best for monitoring; best and worst pick the extremes.
includeApplicantReviewsbooleanOptionaldefault falseInclude applicant (interview) reviews
Also save interview reviews from candidates: rating, interview result, year, sub-ratings, interview questions and suggestions.
maxApplicantReviewsPerCompanyintegerOptionaldefault 20Max applicant reviews per company
How many applicant reviews to save per employer (kununu shows up to about 125 without login).
includeCompanyProfilebooleanOptionaldefault trueInclude company rows

includeSalariesbooleanOptionaldefault trueInclude salary ranges

includeCompanyDetailsbooleanOptionaldefault falseInclude profile texts and review summary
Add the employer's own texts (about, what is special, who they are looking for, tips for applicants), quoted review highlights and kununu's review summary per category to each company row.
proxyConfigurationobjectOptionaldefault {"useScrapelyProxy":true,"scrapelyProxyGroups":["DATACENTER…Proxy configuration
Datacenter proxies work well for kununu and are the cheapest. If kununu refuses them repeatedly, the run switches to residential proxies on its own.
Every run writes its results to a dataset. Preview it in the dashboard, then export it or read it through the API.
