Scrape CoinGecko crypto data without an API key: prices, market caps, volumes, supply, all-time highs, full coin profiles, up to 365 days of price history, trending coins, categories and exchanges. Top coins by market cap, any category, or your own list of coins, tickers or URLs.
Get live crypto prices, market caps, volumes, supply, all-time highs and full coin profiles from CoinGecko, plus up to a year of price history, today's trending coins, every coin category and the exchange rankings. No login, no API key and no rate-limit headaches: the scraper paces itself and spreads calls over rotating proxy IPs, so the top 1,000 coins come back in seconds.

Ticker tip: a ticker goes to the biggest coin with that ticker, so dot is Polkadot and uni is Uniswap. To get a specific small coin, use its CoinGecko id or URL.

Price history mode returns one row per coin with a summary and the full series (the "Price history" table view shows one line per data point):

]
}
Trending rows add trending_position, trending_score, price_btc and a sparkline image. Categories rows have category_id, name, market_cap, market_cap_change_24h, volume_24h and the top 3 coins. Exchange rows have exchange_id, name, country, year_established, trust_score, trust_score_rank, trade_volume_24h_btc and the exchange website.
You pay $0.70 per 1,000 rows ($0.0007 per coin, price history, trending coin, category or exchange), plus a small amount of platform usage (compute and datacenter proxy traffic). Example: the top 1,000 coins by market cap cost about $0.70. Coin details and history do not change the price per row.
Is it legal to scrape CoinGecko? The scraper reads public market data that CoinGecko shows to every visitor, without logging in. Check CoinGecko's terms for how you may reuse the data, especially commercially.
Do I need a CoinGecko API key or a proxy? No key. The default datacenter proxy lets the scraper move to a fresh IP whenever CoinGecko's free rate limit kicks in. Without a proxy it still works, just slower (it waits about a minute after every few calls).
How many results can I get? All coins CoinGecko lists (about 17,000 active coins), every category and every exchange. Coin details and history need one call per coin, so large runs with those options take longer.
How far back does history go? Up to 365 days. Points are every 5 minutes for 1 day, hourly up to 90 days and daily beyond.
Why is a field empty? CoinGecko leaves some fields blank for some coins (for example no max supply, no TVL, no genesis date). Community and developer stats are often empty because CoinGecko no longer publishes them for free.
Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule runs (for example every 15 minutes) and read the dataset through the API or integrations.
Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
modeenumOptionaldefault "coins"What to scrape
Coins: prices and market data (top coins by market cap, a category, or the coins you list). Coin details: the same plus the full coin profile (description, categories, links, contracts, community and developer stats). Price history: one row per coin with its price, market cap and volume series. Trending: the coins trending on CoinGecko right now. Categories: every coin category with market cap and volume. Exchanges: crypto exchanges with trust score and 24h volume.
coinsarrayOptionalCoins (optional)
Coins to scrape, one per line: CoinGecko coin ids (bitcoin, ethereum), coin page URLs (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/solana), tickers (BTC, $SOL) or names (Shiba Inu). Leave empty to get the top coins by market cap.
maxResultsintegerOptionaldefault 20Max results
Maximum number of rows to save. Without a coin list, Coins mode returns the top N coins by the chosen sort order (CoinGecko lists about 17,000 active coins).
vsCurrencystringOptionaldefault "usd"Quote currency
Currency for prices, market caps and volumes: usd, eur, gbp, jpy, chf, aud, cad, inr, btc, eth and about 60 more.
categorystringOptionalCategory
Only coins in this CoinGecko category, as its id or category page URL (for example layer-1, meme-token, decentralized-finance-defi, artificial-intelligence). In Categories mode it filters category names. Ignored when you list coins.
orderenumOptionaldefault "market_cap_desc"Sort by
Order of the top-coins list (Coins, Coin details and Price history modes without a coin list). For Categories, market cap ascending or descending.
includeDetailsbooleanOptionaldefault falseInclude coin details
Add the full coin profile to each coin row: description, categories, website, whitepaper, social links, contract addresses, sentiment, watchlist users, TVL, community and developer stats. Costs one extra CoinGecko call per coin, so runs are slower. Always on in Coin details mode.
historyDaysintegerOptionaldefault 0Price history days
Days of price, market cap and volume history (1-365). In Coins and Coin details mode, 0 means no history; any other value adds a price_history list to each coin. In Price history mode the default is 30. Data points: every 5 minutes for 1 day, hourly up to 90 days, daily beyond.
proxyConfigurationobjectOptionaldefault {"useScrapelyProxy":true,"scrapelyProxyGroups":["DATACENTER…Proxy configuration
CoinGecko's free API allows only a few calls per minute per IP address. The scraper spreads calls across rotating datacenter proxy IPs to stay fast; without a proxy it waits between calls.
Every run writes its results to a dataset. Preview it in the dashboard, then export it or read it through the API.
