productData (first review per product, also saved as PRODUCT_INFO in the key-value store) holds productName, productLogo, productDescription, pricingDescription, vendorName, vendorDescription, marketName, markets, averageRating, totalReviews, overallRatings (count per star), alternatives (name, rating, review count) and reviewSpotlight (the favorable and critical review with likes and dislikes).
You pay $1.50 per 1,000 reviews ($0.0015 per review) plus the small platform usage of the run (compute and residential proxy traffic).
Worked examples from our test runs: 1,000 Zoom Meetings reviews cost $1.50 in review events plus about $0.02 of usage; the 20 newest reviews of a product cost $0.03 plus about $0.005 of usage. The product profile is free.
Is it legal? It reads public review pages that anyone can open without an account. Reviews carry job titles, not names. You are responsible for how you use the data; check Gartner's terms and your local laws.
Do I need a Gartner login or a proxy? No login. The site blocks datacenter IPs, so the actor uses US residential proxies by default; you don't need to set anything up.
How many reviews can I get? Logged-out visitors only see one review per page of five, so the actor reads the review list through many combinations of the site's own filters. In our tests that reached 98% of a product's reviews (1,323 of 1,349 for GoTo Meeting) and returned the exact newest reviews for small limits.
Why are some fields empty? reviewerFunction and reviewerRegion are not part of the review card; the actor fills them when it found the review through that filter. Gartner hides summary on a few reviews.
Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule runs in the console or start them through the API, then read the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.
Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
