With Full profiles off, each row holds name, type, countryCode, address, totalShipments, mostRecentShipment, otherAddressesCount, otherNamesCount and detailUrl.
Rows that fail to load are never charged. Set a maximum charge for the run and it stops cleanly when the budget is used up.
Is it legal? The actor reads public ImportYeti pages built from US customs bill-of-lading records. Make sure your use fits your local laws and the site's terms, especially for personal data.
Do I need a login or a proxy? No login. The default datacenter proxy works. If it gets refused, the run switches to US residential exits by itself.
How many results can I get? ImportYeti shows visitors without an account only the first 140 results of a search. When a search has more matches, the actor re-runs it with filter variants (importers vs suppliers, shipment-volume tiers, recency) and merges the new matches, so one query can reach several hundred profiles. Add more queries, address searches or listing pages for more.
Why is a field empty or masked? ImportYeti shows phone numbers only partly to visitors without an account, and some companies have no website, partners or recent bills of lading on record. Empty fields are null or [].
Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule runs in the console, or start them through the API and fetch the dataset as JSON or CSV.
I used another ImportYeti scraper before. Will my workflow fit? Field names follow the common ImportYeti naming (name, type, totalShipments, topTradingPartners, recentBols, ...), so most pipelines need only small changes.
startUrls instead.Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
searchQueriesarrayOptionalSearch queries
Company names, supplier names or product keywords, e.g. porsche, hdmi cable. With Search by set to Address, use a city, state or street instead, e.g. atlanta.
startUrlsarrayOptionalImportYeti URLs
Company or supplier profile URLs (https://www.importyeti.com/company/walmart, /supplier/foxconn or just company/walmart), search URLs, or any other ImportYeti page that lists companies (HS code, product tag, location, address, port or carrier pages). Profile URLs are always scraped in full.
maxResultsintegerOptionaldefault 10Max results per search
How many importers or suppliers to save for each search query or listing URL. ImportYeti returns 10 per search page.
searchTypeenumOptionaldefault "name"Search by

Narrow search results by role, recency, volume or country.
entityTypeenumOptionaldefault "any"Entity type

mostRecentShipmentenumOptionaldefault "any"Most recent shipment

countryCodestringOptionalCountry code
Only keep entities from this country (two-letter ISO code, e.g. CN, VN, US).
includeDetailsbooleanOptionaldefault trueFull profiles
On: open every result and save its full trade profile (partners, HS codes, bills of lading, lanes, carriers, contacts). Off: save only the search row (name, type, country, address, shipments, last shipment) at a lower price.
maxConcurrencyintegerOptionaldefault 10Max concurrency
Profiles loaded in parallel.

Datacenter exits work well for ImportYeti. If they are refused, the run switches to US residential exits on its own.
Every run writes its results to a dataset. Preview it in the dashboard, then export it or read it through the API.
