You pay $2 per 1,000 results ($0.002 per show or episode), plus the small platform usage of the run (compute and datacenter proxy traffic).
Turning off Include ratings and show details makes runs lighter (no show page download), and the result price stays the same.
Is it legal to scrape Apple Podcasts? The actor only reads public data: Apple's public search and lookup endpoints, public chart feeds, public show pages and the podcasts' own public RSS feeds. You are responsible for how you use the data, especially personal data such as owner emails; check the laws that apply to you (for example GDPR).
Do I need an Apple account or a proxy? No account. The default datacenter proxy is enough.
How many results can I get? Apple returns up to 200 shows per search term and per chart. Episodes are limited only by each show's RSS feed, which usually holds the full archive. Add more keywords, genres or countries for more shows.
Why is a field empty? Fields come from Apple and from the publisher's feed. Some publishers leave out the owner email, website, season numbers or file size, and new shows may have no ratings yet. If a feed cannot be read, the actor falls back to Apple's list of the 200 most recent episodes.
Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule the actor to track charts or new episodes, and fetch results through the API or integrations.
Can I get reviews? This actor focuses on shows, episodes, charts and rating summaries; written reviews are not included.
Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
