Scrape IMDb movies, TV shows and episodes by URL, chart, list, search or keyword: rating, votes, genres, runtime, cast, directors, plot, box office and poster. No login needed.
Scrape IMDb titles into clean, structured data: ratings, votes, genres, runtime, certificate, plot, cast, directors, writers, countries, languages, box office and posters. Paste title, chart, list or search URLs, or just type keywords. It reads IMDb's public data endpoint, so there is no login and a thousand titles take well under a minute.
No URLs? Leave them empty and set only filters, for example minRating 8, titleTypes tvSeries, minVotes 50000.

Coming from the older IMDb scrapers? title has no year suffix (use year), ratingcount is ratingCount, description is plot, genre and country are the arrays genres and countries, and director and stars are arrays of names.
$0.01 per title ($10 per 1,000). There is no start fee. Platform usage (compute and proxy) is billed on top and is tiny: under $0.001 per 1,000 titles on the default 256 MB run (measured).
You are charged for titles saved to the dataset. Titles that fail a filter, duplicates and unknown IDs are free. Set a maximum charge on the run and it stops cleanly when it is reached.
Do I need an IMDb account or a proxy? No login is needed. The default datacenter proxy is enough.
Is it legal? The actor reads publicly available pages and data. IMDb's terms restrict commercial use of its data, so check the terms and the licensing options at imdb.com/licensing for your use case before you rely on it commercially.
How many results can I get? IMDb shows at most 10,000 results per search. For filter searches that match more, the actor splits the search by release date to go past 10,000. Charts and lists are as long as IMDb makes them (Top 250 has 250).
What if a field is empty? IMDb does not have every field for every title. Budget and box office are mostly for films, ratings are missing for unreleased titles, and episodes have no series-level fields. Missing values are null or empty lists.
Can I scrape people, reviews or showtimes? Not in this actor. It covers titles: movies, TV series, episodes, shorts, video games and similar.
Can I schedule it or use it through the API? Yes. Schedule weekly chart runs, call it from the API, and send results to webhooks or integrations.
cast is limited to 250 members per title (the most IMDb returns).Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
startUrlsarrayOptionalIMDb URLs
Title pages (imdb.com/title/tt0111161), charts (Top 250, Most Popular), lists (imdb.com/list/ls...), advanced search (imdb.com/search/title/?...) or find pages (imdb.com/find/?q=...). A bare title ID such as tt0111161 also works.
searchQueriesarrayOptionalSearch keywords
Search IMDb titles by name or keyword, one per line, for example Blade Runner.
maxItemsintegerOptionaldefault 20Maximum titles
Stop after this many titles in total. Titles found by more than one input are saved once.

Titles must have all of the selected genres.
minYearintegerOptionalEarliest year
Keep titles released in this year or later.
maxYearintegerOptionalLatest year
Keep titles released in this year or earlier.

Keep titles with at most this many ratings.

Optional cap for each URL or keyword, so one big chart does not use the whole limit.
Choose how much detail each title gets.
maxCastMembersintegerOptionaldefault 10Cast members per title
How many credited cast members to include (with character names). 0 keeps only the main stars. IMDb returns at most 250 per title.

Add up to 12 IMDb plot keywords per title.
expandEpisodesbooleanOptionaldefault falseScrape episodes of TV series
For every series found, also save all its episodes (they count towards the limit).
