🚀 How to use

  2. Set Max events (0 = no limit).
  3. Optional: set a date range for past events, pick genres, or keep only RA Picks or events with RA tickets.
  4. Click Start and download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them over the API.

📥 Input

FieldWhat it does
startUrlsra.co links: cities/areas, countries, clubs, artists, promoters, events or event id ranges
citiesCity names, matched to their RA area ("Berlin", "Portland, US", local names like "München" or "東京" work too)
maxItemsMaximum events to save across all inputs (default 20, 0 = no limit)
maxItemsPerInputOptional cap per URL or city, so one big city does not use up the whole limit
dateFrom / dateToDate range (YYYY-MM-DD). Empty = upcoming events
genresKeep events with any of these genres (Techno, House, Drum & Bass, ...)
ticketedOnlyOnly events selling tickets on RA
picksOnlyOnly RA Picks

Event id rangehttps://ra.co/events/2186229-2186250

Date filters apply to cities, countries, clubs, artists and promoters. Event ids and id ranges are always returned as they are. City listings follow RA's own calendar, so a multi-day festival that is still running inside your date range is included even if it started a day or two earlier.

📤 Output

One row per event. The table view shows the key columns; every row also carries the full RA event record.

💰 Pricing

You pay $2.50 per 1,000 events ($0.0025 per event), plus a small amount of platform usage (compute and proxy) for the run.

Example: 1,000 London events cost about $2.50 in total: $2.50 in event fees plus $0.0013 of platform usage (measured on a real 1,000-event run).

❓ FAQ

Is it legal to scrape Resident Advisor? The scraper only reads public event pages that anyone can open without an account. Check RA's terms and your local laws for how you use the data, especially personal data.

Do I need an RA account, cookies or my own proxy? No. It works without login. The default datacenter proxy is included and works well.

How many events can I get? As many as RA lists. A big city like London has a few thousand upcoming events, and archives go back years when you set a date range. Use Max events to cap a run.

Why are some fields empty? RA only fills what the promoter entered. Ticket tiers exist only for events sold through RA, flyers and set times are optional, and secret venues hide the venue until it is revealed.

Can I schedule it or use it from my code? Yes. Schedule runs in the console (for example every morning for your city) and read the dataset over the API or with webhooks.

I was using another RA scraper. Is the input compatible? Yes, startUrls with { "url": ... } objects, maxItems, dateRangeFrom and dateRangeTo are accepted as they are.

⚠️ Limits

  • Only public, live events. Private, draft or offline events are not returned.
  • Date filters do not apply to event ids and id ranges.
  • RA lists at most 10,000 results per date window; the scraper moves through dates automatically, which takes a little longer for very large ranges.
  • Ticket tiers are filled only for events that sell tickets on RA. Events ticketed elsewhere show their links under promotionalLinks.
