You pay $7.50 per 1,000 events ($0.0075 per event), plus a small platform usage fee for compute and proxy traffic. For example, a typical week of US events (about 100) costs about $0.75. Skipped and filtered-out events are never charged. Set a maximum total charge on the run and the scraper stops cleanly when it is reached.
Is it legal to scrape the economic calendar? The scraper reads public calendar data that the sites show to every visitor. You are responsible for how you use the data and for following each site's terms.
Do I need an account, API key or proxy? No. No login is used, and the default datacenter proxy works for all three sources.
Which source should I pick? Investing.com has the widest country coverage, categories, indicator descriptions and history back to 2016. ForexFactory is popular with forex traders and covers USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD and CNY. FXStreet covers about 40 countries and includes holidays.
Why is the actual value empty?
The event has not been released yet, or it is a speech or meeting without a number. Use onlyReleased to keep only released events.
How far ahead and back can I go? Calendars publish upcoming events a few weeks ahead. Investing.com history goes back to at least 2016; ForexFactory and FXStreet also keep years of history.
Can I schedule it or use it from code? Yes. Schedule a daily run in the console, or start runs over the API and read the dataset as JSON or CSV.
Every field below can be set in the run form, passed through the API, or saved as a task. Unset fields fall back to the defaults shown.
