✨ Why use NetEase Cloud Music Scraper?

  • ⚡ Fast — a 100-track chart takes one request; a 10,000-track playlist is fetched in bulk, not page by page.
  • 📈 Real chart movement — rank, last week's rank, places gained or lost and new entries for every official chart.
  • 🎯 Every input you have — playlist IDs, music.163.com links, mobile share links or chart names like 飙升榜, 热歌榜, Hot or New.
  • 🔎 Playlist search — find playlists by keyword (华语经典, lofi, K-pop ...) and scrape their tracks in the same run.
  • 📝 Lyrics on demand — plain text, time-synced LRC and translated lyrics when NetEase has them.
  • 🔓 No account needed — public data only, works with the default datacenter proxy.

🎯 Use cases

  • 📊 Chart tracking — snapshot the Soaring, New, Original and Hot charts every day and follow rank changes over time.
  • 🎧 A&R and talent scouting — spot fast risers and new entries on the Chinese market before they break elsewhere.
  • 🔁 Playlist migration — export track, artist and album names and IDs to rebuild playlists on other services.
  • 🧾 Music licensing and market research — see which artists, albums and release years dominate each genre chart.
  • 🌏 Genre and language charts — Korean, Japanese, ACG, rap, electronic, folk, rock, Billboard, UK and Oricon charts as NetEase shows them.
  • 🗣️ Lyrics datasets — collect lyrics with translations for language learning or text analysis.

💰 Pricing

Pay per event: $0.07 per run plus $0.90 per 1,000 tracks. Lyrics add $1.00 per 1,000 tracks that have lyrics (only when Include lyrics is on). Platform usage (compute and proxy) is billed on top and is tiny for this scraper.

  • One full chart (100 tracks) ≈ $0.16
  • 1,000 tracks ≈ $0.97

You set a maximum charge per run, and the scraper stops cleanly when it is reached.

❓ FAQ

Is it legal? The scraper only reads public chart and playlist pages that anyone can open without an account. Check that your use of the data respects NetEase's terms and copyright law in your country.

Do I need a NetEase account or a proxy? No account. The default datacenter proxy works; switch to residential only if your runs get blocked.

How many tracks can I get? Every track of a playlist, including playlists with 10,000 tracks. Official charts hold 10 to 200 tracks each.

Why are some fields empty? NetEase leaves some data blank: older or imported tracks often have no release date, many songs have no alias or translation, and rank change only exists for charts that publish a previous edition. New entries have no last rank.

Which charts are there? Turn on All official charts to get all of them, or use names: 飙升榜 (Soaring), 新歌榜 (New), 原创榜 (Original), 热歌榜 (Hot), plus genre and language charts such as 网易云韩语榜, 网易云日语榜, 网易云中文说唱榜, 美国Billboard榜, UK排行榜周榜, 日本Oricon榜.

Can I schedule it or use the API? Yes. Schedule daily runs to build a chart history, and start runs or read results through the API or integrations.

⚠️ Limits

  • Public charts and playlists only. Private playlists, user libraries and listening history need a login and are not scraped.
  • No audio files or stream URLs.
  • Albums, artists and single-song links are not inputs; use a playlist or chart that contains them.
  • Search order, chart contents and popularity scores are whatever NetEase returns at run time.
  • A few removed or region-locked songs in large playlists may come back without details and are skipped.
